The project scope of supply involved – The supply, Piping Fabrication, Installation of Pipework, Supports, Testing & Handover & Commissioning assistance.
The project was to construct an uprated Production facility within an existing brownfield plant, the project consisted of new burner train built next to the existing three small burner trains. This involved some complex pipework fabrication in both stainless steel and carbon steel and numerous pieces of equipment including pumps, valves and other inline items.
The Project also involved a new Main Unit Filter, this involved work in various locations throughout the existing plant.
The Main Unit filter also included installation of three filters & large bore aluminium pipe-work to & GRP ducting. The project was completed to customer satisfaction under very tight timescales and deadlines.
The project involved some 3500m of pipework of an average bore of 100nb, with a peak labour force of some 40 tradesmen over a ten month period.
